Perilous Treasure Cynthia

Cynthia design for BlueRockman's [link] " Perilous Treasure " story.

I decided to make her design different from how she is normally seen, yet keep defining parts that make her Cynthia. These are obviously her hair bangs, headband and jacket.

In this story, Cynthia is a white mage and ninja. I initially started with trying to put mage and ninja designs together, but seeing as how Cynthia spins into her other outfits in my universe, I thought I'd use the idea here aswell. Thus Cynthia has a ninja form and a white mage form.

To show she's still a healer she still wears white as a ninja, I also personally thought it'd be an original (and slightly humerous) idea of having a ninja dressed in a polar opposite pallette to how they're usually seen.

As for her weapon, its primary form is of a mages staff which she materialises from her hands (she's a mage, she can do that stuff) and the weapon itself changes from staff form to katana form to compliment her own form at the time. The jagged tsuba (handguard) on the katana was intentional as Cynthia still doesn't like fighting as shown by her staff having golden angelic wings. The blue orb on both weapon forms is its magical center.

Finally the design on the back of her jacket mimics her weapon in that it combines the sun with the moon, as in the darkness of using her katana and light from healing with her staff.
